The clamping mode of hydraulic shank is different from that of traditional shank system. Tightening is done with a compression bolt, which, when tightened, pushes the piston seal to create a hydraulic oil pressure in the tool handle. This pressure is transmitted evenly from the circumference to the steel expansion sleeve, and the expansion wall clamps the tool.
With the tool clamping system, the precision of radial circular runout error and repeated positioning can be controlled within 3μm. Because there is high pressure oil pressure in the tool handle, when the tool is clamped, the structure of the oil chamber and the existence of high pressure oil greatly increase the damping structure, can effectively prevent the vibration of the tool and machine tool spindle. The practical application shows that this clamping system can not only improve the machining precision and quality, but also increase the service life of the tool in cutting.
The characteristics of the hydraulic tool handle are as follows:
(1) The hydraulic tool handle has a very high clamping rotary accuracy (≤0.003mm). In the drilling and reaming process, the dimensional accuracy of the hole can be greatly improved and the tool breaking can be effectively prevented. In the milling process, the cutting edge of the multi-edge cutting tool can be evenly cut into the workpiece, so as to improve the cutting state and reduce tool wear. Practice shows that the tool service life can be increased to about 4 times the original.
(2) The oil in the oil chamber of the hydraulic shank also increases the structural damping, so as to improve the dynamic characteristics of the shank clamping and make it have excellent damping and vibration reduction performance. It can reduce the vibration generated in cutting and improve the surface quality of the workpiece.
(3) Hydraulic handle handling tool is very convenient, as long as the use of a hex wrench can be easily loaded and unloaded tools, do not need any auxiliary devices.
